A National Olympic Committee is a national constituent of the worldwide Olympic movement. Subject to the controls of the International Olympic Committee, NOCs are responsible for organizing their people's participation in the Olympic Games.

The construction of the first Belarusian golf course was supervised by Paul Thomas, the world-famous golf course architect who delivered dozens of courses for England, Russia, Spain, China and other countries.
